Meaghan is a one-of-a-kind teddy girl. Of course, she is as sweet as can be....aren't all teddies. She is fashioned from a sparse light green Schulte on a brown backing. Her muzzle has been hand-plucked. And I just love her oversized, hand-embroidered nose and mouth. Her lovely eyes are deep set...and give her the appearance of looking straight into your heart! You'll love her ultrasuede paw pads, with needle-sculpted fingers and toes! And those feet...they are really quite large for a teddy her size. She is an absolute charmer! Meaghan's larger than life personality and appetite is reflected in that very big tummy. Stuffed with a combination of polished steel shot and polyester polyfil, she will feel wonderful sitting in the palm of your hand and sharing special moments!
Meaghan really is unique in that she is truly the end result of "playtime!" Using my pattern for her sightly smaller brothers and sisters, I modified the length of her arms and legs. I kept that nice big belly and then gave her a bit of a butt. She really is quite adorable! After she was finished, I sat with her so she could whisper her name. Not only did she tell me it was Meaghan, she made it quite clear that she was an Irish lass and wanted a tam AND a dress to go with it! She is such an appealing teddy that I couldn't deny her. It took me over a week to come up with a pattern for the clothes, but she is wearing Henretty Originals. A crocheted tam and jumper. Meaghan has only one request left...that she be adopted out into the perfect home!
