I absolutely love this teddy bear. After all, you don't meet many blue teddies. And it's really rare to meet a blue teddy brave enough to accessorize with lemon yellow! Of course, with my love of color, I think it's the perfect combination.
Lil Treuse is fashioned from a wonderful, imported string mohair. Depending on your perception, the color is a funky shade of blue...some might consider it to be a smokey purple color. Either way, it's terrific! Treuse has a wonderful, playful look. His sweet face features hand-blown glass eyes that just sparkle as they look out over his meticulously hand-embroidered nose! His inner ears, paw and foot pads are made from a yellow ultrasuede (it's brighter than it appears in his portrait). And those feet (huge for such a tiny bear...they are almost the same length as his body!) and paw pads have been needle-sculpted with all his fingers and toes. Since Treuse is such a fan of yellow, he is also wearing a ruffled collar from the same ultrasuede. Like all good teddies, Lil Treuse is jointed in the neck, arms and legs. He is stuffed with a combination of polished steel shot and polyester polyfil and will feel just perfect sitting in the palm of your hand.
