One of my favorite childhood memories is running barefoot through the spring grass, searching for the pretty little flowers trying to hide in the blades. And, all grown up, I still smile when I see the delicate Blue Belles! My teddy bear version is fashioned from a dense, 1-inch imported Schulte curly mohair with batiking in shades of blue. Like the spring flowers, Blue Belle has a white face (inset muzzle) which has been meticulously hand-plucked, trimmed and needle sculpted. Her hand-blown glass eyes twinkle out over her perfect nose and mouth. And, Blue Belle has a blue nose, of course! Like all the teddy bears of The Bear Menagerie, Blue Belle has a large belly... She is stuffed with a combination of polyester polyfil and polished steel shot. She has really huge feet (even bigger then her belly!) that have been needle-sculpted with toes (her paw pads have fingers). Around her neck is a lovely wired ombre ribbon in shades of blue. Like all the teddies of The Bear Menagerie, Blue Belle has a sewn-inch tush tag and will travel with a signed name card assuring you that you are the proud owner of an original design teddy!
