Welcome To The Bear Menagerie Order Page...all the information you need to adopt a new teddy bear friend!

All the bears featured in the Studio are available for immediate adoption. I know how important it is to see "your" teddy and try to take the best photos possible of each and every bear. The bear you see is the one you will be sent!

My newest teddy bears are presented to friends on my Very Important Pal mailing list. These special friends have an opportunity to preview and adopt the teddy bears before they are offered in the Studio. All prices are in US currency. (If you need to calculate the cost in US dollars, the Universal Currency Converter offers this service.) For obvious reasons, teddy bears are not considered to be adopted until their adoption fee is received. For your convenience, I accept credit cards via PayPal, money orders and personal checks.

I have set up my site with a shopping card feature. To adopt a teddy bear, simply click the "Add to Cart" button. You'll be asked for your name and address...it's pretty easy to follow. You can continue to shop or complete your purchase.

PAYPAL -- PayPal allows you to makes purchases using your credit card and/or bank account. As a frequent internet buyer myself, I prefer to use PayPal to make purchases. I feel very confident about the security they provide. And, of course, PayPal allows you to choose the payment method most convenient. You do not have to be a member of PayPal to use it.

Teddy bears adopted via PayPal will be shipped within one business day of funds being deposited in my account.

CHECKS AND MONEY ORDERS -- I am happy to accept checks (US banks only) and money orders (no international money orders, please). Please email me that you are paying by either of these methods. Your teddy bear will be marked as "Adoption Pending." Checks and/or money orders MUST be received within seven (7) business days to hold your teddy bear.

Teddy bears adopted via money order will be shipped within one business day of receipt. Personal checks are held for 10 business days before shipping.

LAYAWAY -- I am delighted to offer a 50% down, 50% in 30-days. If you are interested in adopting a bear using the 50/50, please contact me for details. (This option is not available during VIP Preview Shows.)

United States Each teddy from The Bear Menagerie is shipped via United States Postal Service. The teddy bears are shipped PRIORITY and insured for their full value with return receipt requested as well as Delivery Confirmation. I do not ship COD. The shipping cost is listed on each page. If you are adopting more than one teddy bear, I will combine shipping and refund overpayment as necessary.

Please note that shipping costs within New York State are included in the tax calculations.

International I am delighted to ship teddy bears overseas. Almost certainly, there will be additional shipping charges to those indicated on the teddy bear's page. I will let you know the total shipping charges are prior to completing your order. To ensure a timely delivery, the bears are shipped Parcel Post - Airmail, fully insured with a return receipt requested where possible. Naturally, teddy bears are shipped in complete accordance with U. S. Customs Regulations. (Your country may impose a tariff. I have no way of knowing if they will or how much it might be as it varies.) Please note that correspondence must be sent separately.

For restrictions on packages sent to you via United States Postal Service, please visit their web site. For specifics on weight and insurance limits, you can go directly to the country listing.

If you have friends or relatives visiting the United States, it may be less expensive for you to arrange for your teddy bear to travel with them.

Upon receipt of your teddy bear, please open and inspect it immediately. I expect you to be delighted with your teddy bear! If you are not, please contact me immediately. Should the decision be made to return the teddy bear, you must do so within five days of receipt (do not return the teddy bear without contacting me first!). To protect your investment, please insure the teddy bear for its full retail value. The teddy bear must be returned in its original condition and free of smoke, pet or other odors. That being the case, I will notify you and cheerfully refund the cost of the bear less my shipping/handling/insurance.
